Subscribe to Calendars


You may subscribe to the St. Andrew’s Academy Calendars in order to have them on your personal calendars on your computer.  Thus, you don’t have to go to the website to look up the calendar.  Once you subscribe, any changes made to the St. Andrew’s calendar will automatically be reflected on the St. Andrew’s calendars you have on your computer.


Software Calendars that support this (ical) subscription include Apple’s iCal for Macintosh and Mozilla Sunbird 0.8+ (the calendaring application made by the same people who make Firefox web browser) for Windows, Linux and Mac.  The application iCal4OL 2.2.0 advertises its ability to to help MS Outlook subscribe to an iCal format calendar (such as the St. Andrew’s Calendars).  “Smart importing, exporting and subscribing (Remote Calendars) of ICS files/feeds for MS Outlook.”  Finally, if you use Google Calendars, you have access


Directions: The simple way is to just click on the Subscribe button next to each calendar listed below that you want to subscribe to.  Make sure to choose automatic update with the frequency of your choice.  And now you’ve got the St. Andrew’s calendars automatically updated on your home computer.


If this does not work, then find and use the subscribe feature of the calendar application that you use.  For instance, in Apple’s iCal, choose “subscribe” from the Calendar menu.  In the subscribe dialogue, cut and paste the code below for the different calendars—one at a time.  Make sure to choose automatic update with the frequency of your choice.  And now you’ve got the St. Andrew’s calendars automatically updated on your home computer.
